My Chief...
Today Tony got the greatest news thus far in his career: this year he becomes a USCG Chief. This is a great accomplishment and I am so proud of him! He is so happy he can't stop smiling. He is going to be such a great chief because he is such a great leader. Year 2009 is going to bring us great change into our lives; I graduate, Tony becomes chief, we get married, I begin my career...it will be so great!

Spanish Fans for Bridesmaids
We decided to have the bridesmaids hold a Spanish fan instead of a bouquet the day of the wedding. Maybe I will even have one of my own in addition to my bouquet. I was trying to look for some beautiful fans we could use and came across Casa de Diego. Their fans are so beautiful and range from affordable to extremely expensive. What I like most about them is that they definitely look Spanish (trying to stay away from the Asian fan).

Bridal Bouquet Idea
Nancy, this post is for you. Here are some ideas of bouquets with hanging ribbon. I think they look beautiful! I like the look of using different size ribbon.

Wedding ribbons
People always ask me what my wedding colors are and I can never give them an answer. I want to bring lots of color into my wedding and thus I have chosen not to limit myself to two or so colors. Instead I want to have access to multiple colors that will be used throughout the event. Now the problem is that I had chosen strong bold colors that don't match with the bridesmaid dresses. Yesterday Nancy and I got together with a couple of bridesmaids to try to work the color into their attire. Even though we found a way, I am still not convinced and have chosen to look at the possibility of toning down the colors. I looked at what Paper-Source has to offer and I picked colors with highlight possibilities. Maybe this will work out better…
